Johnny Depp tops Internet star search

Johnny Depp was the most searched name in movies for 2005, by Internet users, according to a leading movies portal. Film fans searched more for Pirates of The caribbean hunk's biography and filmography than for any other celebrity. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were close behind Depp, thanks to their high profile relationship and their film Mr. and Mrs. Smith up from number 5 and number 8 in 2004 respectively.

The Notebook star Rachel Mcadams and Fantastic four star Jessica Alba entered in top 25 list for the first time at number 17 and 6 respectively. Napolean Dynamite Jon Heder and Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria were at 19 and 22. It is also interesting to see who tumbled out of top 25 this year. A list that includes Jeniffer Garner, who was on maternity leave for a good portion of the year, Viggo mortensen who needed more then a History of Violence to keep his Aragon standing of No. 23 last year. Halle Berry whose catwomen last year kept her in the spotlight at No. 19, but she is at No. 63 this year.

Reese Witherspoon gave her husband Ryan Phillippe a very special Christmas gift - two of his favorite Frank Sinatra tunes. The actress, who showed off her singing skills last year in "Walk The Line" recorded Sinatra classics I've got a crush on you and the best is yet to come for the Crash star.

To make her gift extra special, she asked the staff at restaurant at Beverly Hills, Los Angeles to play the Sinatra renditions as the couple enjoyed a romantic pre-Christmas dinner recently, according to a magazine.

Two men charged with attempting to extort $1 million from celebrity couple Marc Anthony and Jeniffer Lopez in exchange for their 2004 wedding video. Tito Moses (31), and Stevan Wortman (49) were arrested in New York on Tuesday, following weeks of negotiations with the couple's legal adviser. The video was on Anthony's Laptop, which was stolen along with singer's Cadillac, in Linden, New Jersey.

After failing to sell the video to American magazines and TV show, the two attempted to bribe Anthony into buying it back. Moses and Wartman were taken into custody on Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges of conspiracy, attempted grand larceny and possession of stolen property.

Pop star Britney spears want another baby with her husband Kevin Federline. According to reports, Spears seems eager to have another baby with Federline even after all the riencing. A friend says, "Britney was advised to wait at least 3 months after her baby birth, before trying to get pregnant again.

Now that's passed, she wants to try right away." Spears reportedly want a daughter and thinks that having another baby will smooth out her relationship with Federline.

Split couple Kirsten Dunst and Hake Gyllenhaal has sparked rumors of being in love again, after Dunst joined actor's sister Maggie and her beau Peter Saarsgard for a New Year’s Eve party on Saturday night. Donst and her ex were spotted dancing together at a Los Angeles hotspot, while Joaquin Phoenix, Courtney Love and Mary-Kate Olsen looked on.

One reveler insists that the split couple didn't look like lovers, saying, "They were just chatting as they danced and seemed like good friends and nothing else."

Aniston has been quietly dating her The Break Up costar Vaughn, since June, but has refused to publicly declare her relationship.

She says, "I am not talking about him (Vaughn), and not being difficult, its just that as you can imagine, I have been burned in the past, when it comes to talking about that part of my life. So I am just leaving that subject alone. I am doing great and I am happy with my life."

According to a source, about $25000 was budgeted for Pamela Anderson wardrobe, but she dug into her own pocket to the tune of $100,000 to buy extra, more elegant clothes.

With her mind made up, she headed straight for the Beverly hills store of her designer friend Stella Ma Cartney and as the source says, practically cleaned it out. She scoped up everything from cute sweaters and sexy dresses to Stella's trademark Vegan pumps.

Meanwhile Pam has turned Spice Girl for Bryan Adams, when the singer re-recorded his hit duet "When You're Gone" with her, replacing the original vocals from Spice Girl Mel C for this new anthology album.

Pamela and Bryan worked previously together on Adams 1999 book of photography "Made in Canada", for a photo in the book, where Pamela Anderson was wearing nothing but a Canadian Flag.
